This policy explains how Hobbin collects and uses your personal data when you join the waitlist on hobbin.ai.

Who we are

The data controller is Domenico Griffo, VAT number IT02888590995, based in San Colombano Certenoli (GE), Italy.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. Nothing else is required.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider records basic technical data (such as pages visited, approximate country, browser and device type) in aggregated form, to measure traffic and keep the site secure. This data does not identify you personally.

Why we use it

We use your email address only to tell you when Hobbin is ready and your spot on the waitlist is available. We will not send you marketing or newsletters unless you give us separate permission.

Legal basis

We process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to privacy@hobbin.ai. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before.

Aggregated website statistics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the waitlist, and only for that purpose:

  • Framer B.V. (Netherlands): website hosting and website statistics.

  • Loops (United States): storing waitlist sign-ups and sending waitlist emails.

  • Google Ireland Limited: our email, used when we reply to you.

Each provider acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers, such as Loops, may process data in the United States. When this happens, the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified, or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you create an account on Hobbin or unsubscribe from the waitlist, and in any case for no longer than 24 months from the date you joined. After that, we delete it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the data we hold about you;

  • correct it;

  • have it deleted;

  • restrict or object to its processing;

  • receive it in a portable format;

  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@hobbin.ai. We will reply within 30 days.

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority in your country.

Cookies

The waitlist page does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

Children

Hobbin is a service for professionals and is not intended for people under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email before they apply.
